November 21, 2011. Bradley Manning Support Network. Today the United States Army scheduled an Article 32 pretrial hearing for PFC Bradley Manning, the Army intelligence specialist accused of releasing classified material to WikiLeaks. The pretrial hearing will commence on December 16 at Fort Meade, Maryland.
This will be PFC Manning’s first appearance before a court and the first time he will face his accusers after 17 months in confinement.

November 18, 2011. Bradley Manning Support Network. The White House today declined to comment in response to a petition drive by supporters of accused WikiLeaks whistle-blower PFC Bradley Manning. The White House argued that it must “decline to comment” on specific cases in the military justice system. However, when he was asked about Bradley Manning’s conditions of confinement in April, President Obama replied that “he broke the law.” Legal experts have noted that this is an example of “undue command influence.”
