Remember the holdings of gold were abolished in 1971 when the costs of the Vietnam/Korean war exceeded by far the American gold holdings and thus their finances. We know the rest, living decades on borrowed money, on money that has no countervalue in gold, has brought us today’s so-called financial crisis.

To America, warfare is only ostensibly to “free the world from bad terrorists”, or from illegal weapons (that only America or the western wold is allowed to have, not the Iraq), or communists (Vietnam)or, or…
In fact it is to ensure the financial system to carry on like it before (remember the FED is only to a small extent state-run, most of it is held by private banks. Their operative decisions do not require the approval of the US government – they’re the winners of the wars!), and to ensure the big oil business to keep going

It’s pretty brave to speak of America as the “global Gestapo”, though that’s what I feel, too.

And like in Germany in ww2, someone (in this case Bradley Manning) has to be the scapegoat. It’s a shame that America turns to methods they despised with the Russians or the whole former Eastern Bloc.

I am clearly disappointed of Barack Obama in whom we put so much hope and thought he would be a difference to George Bush and that he would end the injustice of the Bush administration.

I put all my best wishes and prayers to Bradley Manning! I sincerely do wish there’s more brave people in the US Army like him, people who don’t give up thinking once they have entered the gates of a US Army barrack.
