I think he should probably receive some type of punishment for breaking laws about “confidentiality” within the military service. At the same time, I do feel he did the right thing by “snitching” on his comrades in arms about serious war crimes…but I believe he was supposed to do by going up the chain of command rather than just leaking to the public.

I do feel he has made a courageous effort to do the right thing which should be rewarded. At the same time, I think we need to be cautious about how WikiLeaks and such ‘really operate’.

I really had no idea about Iceland’s reaction – thanks for the helpful information.

I wish I had the kind of courage to do what Bradley Manning has done. In fact, it takes a special kind of person. He is being tortured for telling the truth. I salute not the U.S.A.’s policies for war and many other things it does to hurt innocent people, but I have no trouble feeling great about Bradley Manning. Let the people feel the what great courage is really about.

What further evidence is needed that Bradley Manning is a political prisoner, not a criminal?
