The torturing of Americans who were POW’s. Holding soldiers for years, put into 4×4 pits in the ground. Then there were the stories about the Russians, our biggest enemies. They would spy on their own people, force them to wait in lines for a loaf of bread. The people were poor, they had no government help. Does any of this sound familiar? We have met the enemy and he is us.
