As an Aussie I can not understand The USA. Detroit is bankrupt – why are gunmen (usually men) killing young black men for walking down the street – why does a picture on a magazine drive so many people angry – Get a grip folks. Your governemnt can kill children (with drones) but other people (Taliban) are evil if they do. Hypocrisy in everything I read about the US. Guilty of not kow towing to a piece of cloth with some pretty pictures on it. Get real. The brain is for thinking – Bradley Manning used his. What hope of a military judge using hers? Go well Bradley – you may have a long walk to freedom but so did that other guy.

So Manning may just keep his sanity after it is all said and done as so many of the disheartened and broken have returned in a state of conscious confusion with no valve to vent their wounded souls. Nothing worse than a guilt riddden pressure cooker, steaming in nightmmares with no voice, torn between blind allegiance and conscience. Bradley Manning could not keep his pressure within .. He vented.

You are 100% correct. Nobody should EVER have blind loyalty to a flag. If your country is doing what’s right, support its actions. If your country is doing what’s wrong, stop supporting its actions and work to change those actions. The U.S. government has been hijacked by murderous psychopaths and, as a result, it is doing mostly wrong at this point, and it is using our enlisted brothers, sisters and children to do much of that wrong.
