Hey listen. We’re going to flashmob Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” on June 8th (international day of action for Bradley Manning), and on June 30th at the SF Pride Parade!

Practice is 7:45-9:30pm Monday nights 06-03, 06-10, 06-17; review on 06-24. Try to come to the first three if you want to learn the dance for Pride.
Hellman room (second floor) @ ODC (17th Street & Shotwell, entrance on Shotwell)

If you haven’t seen the dance, check it: http://youtu.be/YklR5sRMHm0. It’s essentially that, but easier and shorter. It’s cool, we’re going to teach you the dance! We don’t care if you ‘dance’ or not.

Prime yourself with some instructional videos graciously provided to us by Julien from BAFM:

Bradley Manning is the army intelligence analyst who released mass documents to Wikileaks because he believed that we, to be an informed and democratic public, should know what our governments are doing in our name (info at: http://www.bradleymanning.org/). His trial starts this week, so let’s raise hell.

  1. Looking for any Bradley Manning June 1st Day of action events near Petaluma, CA. Disabled, can’t dance. SF is good, but isn’t there going to be one big solidarity event? Other than flash mobs?

  2. Free Bradley Manning - I trained at the United States Army Fort at Leonard Wood, Missouri, and they trained up to report war crimes, i.e., collateral murder. Bradley Manning trained at Fort Leonard Wood.
