I want to support Bradley, but there’s no event in my area. What do I do?
Supporters who aren’t near one of the 16 19 cities hosting events for our International Days of Action have been contacting us asking: what can we do? Should I book a flight to, say, Quantico?
Don’t worry, supporters – you can still be part of the International Days of Action in support of alleged whistleblower and ethical human being Bradley Manning. You can do it from your own hometowns!
WHAT YOU NEED:
Markers
Poster board
Digital camera (or good camera phone)
All you have to do is make an awesome sign supporting Bradley Manning and get your picture taken. Try to mention both your location and Bradley Manning on the sign. (i.e. “Topeka Kansas Stands with Bradley Manning!”). If possible, try to take the picture in front of city hall, a military base, a war monument, or a sign that shows the name of your town.
We’ll add these photos to our slideshow showing the United States government that we stand with Bradley Manning and we will not sit silently by while he is prosecuted for the alleged crime of speaking the truth about the wars.
Best of all, we’ll take copies of those pictures and send them to Bradley – so he’ll see the mountains of support across the world. We’ll post about it on our Facebook pages, Twitter feed and website – creating a living record of Bradley’s many supporters. Just send them to support [at] bradleymanning [dot] org.
So what are you waiting for? Go grab some poster board and help us save Bradley Manning!
I don t even know what to say, how to express my anger over this without being rude, or immature, I am not at all surprised that anything to do with gov. can make their own rules as they go, morally and legally, so I only want to say, God bless you Bradley, for speaking out knowing you would face such an evil unfair, greed based , man, I m speechless with anger, love you , hang in there, stay strong, brave, and God bless you brother. you are God sent, and we love you.
After I read about what had happened some time ago, i actually had someone to actually label my hero. It’s heartbreaking, really it is.
I wrote arlen specter a long heartfelt and intuitive email, hopefully he acknowledges the wrong in this incident.
