I have always admired the American way of life and their constitution, but after the way they have treated Assange,Wikileaks and Bradley Manning all for exposing the TRUTH, should send a message to everyone in the world that the USA is full of propaganda no different to China. Bush should have mentioned it as one in the axis of evil. I have now lost all respect for the USA as has a lot of my fellow Country men.

Let the poor kid go. Everyone knows that things like this happen over there. I was there for almost 17 months and saw things like this very often its part of war and its why peoples taxes are through the roof year after year. Not because everything is going so well in Iraq because nothing is going well at all we are just sending billions of dollars and getting no return. The goverment is just mad because people are actusally seeing what is really goiong on over there and it bothers them. Yes we should be there especially since we destroyed the whole damn country, but let people know the truth its what this kid was trying to do what he was raised to do what we are all raised to do which is be honest its in the bible and its in the us constitution so get real and send him home this is getting ridiculous he is probally being tortured with questiond and all types of nonsense get real send hin home>>>>>>>>>.from someone who knows the truth shares the truth and isnt scared<<<<<<

The comment line folks are obviously not aware of Bradley’s mistreatment.
I just called and the fellow sincerely asked what this is about.
Please take the time to instruct these answering folks about the law and how it is being abused, as Bradley’s human rights to sleep, cover himself, interact, talk to family and friends, are being stripped from him in the brig.
I told him how his lawyer describes that Bradley’s mental capabilities are being destroyed by this treatment.

Please take the opportunity to instruct those answering the phones.

I am a retired judge, a veteran, and I served as director of the US Embassy Office of Accountability and Transparency in Baghdad during the summer of 2007. My reaction to the information I received about American and Iraqi corruption and murder was very similar to that of young Private Manning. I have testified to the House and Senate about what I witnessed. Bradley Manning has been stuck in solitary confinement at Quantico for about 6 months. He is a pretrial detainee. He has been convicted of no crimes and is presumed innocent until and unless he is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Mannings treatment by the Marines at Quantico amounts to torture by means of sensory deprivation. He is not permitted to exercise and spends 23 hours a day in his cell. Instead of this treatment, he should be in an environment that will assist him physically and mentally to participate in a trial in which all the power of DoD will be prosecuting him. I spent 15 years as a superior court judge and tried hundreds of criminal jury trials. I know that important decisions about an accused case must be made by the accused before trial and that if the accused is not mentally prepared to make those decisions it can be fatal to his case. If the intent of the DoD is to reduce Mannings mental and physical stamina, then there can be no fair trial. I voted for you, President Obama, and I expect that you will do the right and the Constitutional thing and make sure that Manning gets a fair trial.

Bradley’s treatment speaks volumes on who is righteous in this situation; a government which knows it has right on its side shuns the tactics of wickedness and brings the oppressor into line. C’mon, Obama,
this is your call – Whom do you serve? The world is watching – this is a 23 year old kid who appears to be teaching us all a lesson in true discipleship.
