PFC Bradley Manning is an Army intelligence analyst accused of releasing hundreds of thousands of documents from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and from the U.S. State Department, uncovering scores of covert atrocities, backroom dealings, and the true nature of American diplomacy. Bradley was held in illegal solitary confinement for more than nine months, in conditions many agree amount to psychological torture. Lauded internationally as a whistle-blower and hero for democratic transparency, Bradley is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
David House, a friend of Bradley Manning’s, will make a fund appeal for Bradley’s defense fund–currently $100,000 short of covering projected trial and campaign expenses.
$5-$10 suggested donation at the door for event expenses. Wheelchair accessible.
Presented by the Bradley Manning Support Network and the Georgetown Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild

It is good to see the support continuing … building … for Bradley Manning. You folks at bradleymanning, org have been fair weather friends through thick and thin. I’m sure that Bradley Manning takes comfort from your efforts.
I saw the effort at the Obama office on the video. It was great!
Sir Julian Assange got around to mentioning ‘an Army Private’ in his balcony address the other day ,,, about the only part of his ‘speech’ worth listening to.
Bradley Manning has been imprisoned for more than 820 days now … without a trial! I’d add, indignantly … in the United States of America!
But that’s the whole point, isn’t it. That the monstrous shape in the shadows that Bradley Mannning has been illuminating these past two years and longer : is a gaping hole … there is no longer any there, there; where the USA used to be. It’s been replaced by this vicious, violent regime which has drugged the very essence of our country, slipped it a mickey, knocked it out. Put it to sleep.
Bradley Manning lit the lamp and you folks at bradleymanning, org have kept it aloft, lo, these long, long nights and days.
Something has got to give. I hope, for all of our sakes, that it is the un-American regime that gives … that gives up its riotous, rogue, repression and restores to Bradley Mannning the freedom he and we all used to think of as our rock-solid right here in the USA, and at the same time begs his and all of our forgiveness.
