Attorney Chase Madar, writing for counterpunch.org, analyzes claims about whether the information releases endangered people. He points out that while debates around whether Bradley Manning endangered civilians continues intensely in the public sphere, discussion over the real documented civilian casualties caused by U.S. forces has gone largely ignored. He argues that civilian casualties caused accidentally or deliberately by U.S. troops creates the best messaging tools for anti-U.S. terrorists, and therefore poses a more significant danger to national security than WikiLeaks.

Supporter Catherine Connor wrote an excellent letter summarizing the result of Bradley’s pretrial hearing. Her letter was published in the Morgan Hill Times. Clark Stoekley, the former WikiLeaks truck driver, is performing this weekend at the EIDIA House Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He will be re-enacting a day in the life of Bradley while held in solitary confinement at the marine prison in Quantico, VA.

Another supporter, Marv Hain, Jr., has gotten the first Bradley Manning tattoo of that we are aware. His tattoo features both Bradley Manning and Julian Assange of WikiLeaks, as well as the words of musician-activist Woodie Guthrie, “This Machine Kills Fascists.”
