Today, the defense rested its case after having ten witnesses testify in the span of three days, and Bradley Manning confirmed that he did not wish to testify..
The defense team has also filed motions to dismiss charges, which it plans on arguing next week.

Niloofar Shambayati, a dedicated supporter of Bradley Manning from Champaign, Illinois who was born in Iran, wrote in a piece to the editor on News-Gazzette.com describing her experience attending the first week of attending the court martial.
“I spent the International Week of Solidarity with Bradley Manning at Fort Meade, Md., and attended the first two days of Manning’s court martial. The government is determined to convict Manning of espionage for having put classified documents revealing cold-blooded killings of innocent Iraqi and Afghan civilians in the public domain, where they indeed belong.”
