Contingents in support of Bradley Manning are being organized at Pride events in San Francisco, Chicago and New York City. We encourage everyone to stand in support of Bradley Manning. And for those that do please take a photo and send it to us at [email protected]

New York Heritage of Pride Parade 2012

On Sunday, June 24, Veterans For Peace will be marching with other peace & justice organizations behind our “Free Bradley Manning” banner in New York City’s Heritage of Pride Parade. Pfc. Manning is a 24-year-old gay man who has been held in solitary confinement, charged with “aiding the enemy.” This American soldier faces life in prison for allegedly being the primary whistle-blower who leaked US State Dept. cables that helped inspire revolts in dictatorships across the Middle East and North Africa. The world clearly understands Pfc. Manning’s contribution toward the freedom of information and freedom itself.
