Over the past few months I have been building tremendous interest in this case and your project’s goals. Unfortunately I’m well aware that my skills do not meet the needs you have outlined for this internship position. However I am currently starting a program at Briarcliffe college for an associates degree in Networking and Computer Technology. While I may not be of use for this particular task, I will remain heavily interested in your organization and it’s efforts. I hope that you will keep me in mind for future projects or volunteer efforts. If there is anything I can do to help, I would absolutely love to become involved in this. If needed I can submit a resume, though my only experience is in retail. Good luck in all your efforts.

    Sincerely,
    Kristie Francis

For folks in the San Francisco Bay Area, we absolutely need volunteer help in our Oakland, California office. No experience needed. We can put your time to good use nearly every weekday, any time between 11am and 6pm. Please contact adminctr(at)couragetoresist.org for more info.

For folks wanting to help with website related work, we’ll probably want to bring on board the intern (posted above) first before expanding that crew significantly.

For folks that want to help build the campaign in general, I recommend getting an organizer box of materials and begin sharing info with friends. We’re also finalizing an up-to-date “Organizer Toolkit” that will be available for download.

Thanks for the volunteer info, Jeff! The intern position sounds like it will be an awesome experience for whoever gets on board, and super helpful to further the efforts to bring justice and release to Bradley Manning. (Justice in my mind is that all the charges should be dropped asap, and when he wins his future lawsuit against the government, he will be financially compensated bigtime for his injuries, pain, and tremendous suffering – for starters.)
