1. is it SPECIFICALLY illegal to make public a document that has been classified as TOP SECRET? – this REALLY all that Bradley Manning has done – did he do it for $ – was he working for a foreign government? – did he deliver ANY information to ANY foreign government at their request or even without their request? – who is the “enemy” who Manning has aided? – the Taliban? Al Qaeda? Osama bin Laden? the KGB? Kim Jong Il? WHO SPECIFICALLY has Bradley aided? – has the u.s.a. CONGRESS OFFICIALLY declared war against the “enemy” that Bradley is accused of aiding?
   In an espionage case there HAS TO BE a SPECIFIC enemy that has been aided “WILLFULLY” by the accused “SPY” – is it Manning’s fault that ANYONE with a computer can read wikileaks?
   PFC. Manning did not commit a crime – HE REVEALED THAT CRIMES WERE COMMITTED BY THE U.S.A.!
   PFC. Manning took an oath that he would PROTECT AND DEFEND the CONSTITUTION against any enemies of it FOREIGN and DOMESTIC! – since the u.s.a. congress HAS NOT legally declared war against the FOREIGN “enemy” that Manning is accused of “aiding” then there is no foreign enemy to be concerned about in this case – legally there is no foreign enemy to protect the constitution from – but Bradley by way of what he is accused of HAS acted to protect the REAL enemies of the u.s.a. constitution and those are the folks in high places in the u.s.a. government and the pentagon, the C.I.A., and the Armed Forces, and the C.E.O.’s of the military-industrial Complex – those who sow war in order that they may reap peace amen – this is a crime against God by the u.s.a.
   if there were any justice in this fallen world of today Manning would be released and the evidence that he uncovered and revealed would be used to prosecute those who have backed and who have profited from the illegal and unjustified wars in iraq and afghanistan (and other places) – it is the ones who are prosecuting Manning who are the REAL criminals in this case according to the LAW and the SPIRIT amen?

   • correction to the above comment: – but Bradley by way of what he is accused of HAS acted to protect the u.s.a. constitution from its DOMESTIC enemies and THOSE ARE the folks in high places in the u.s.a. government, the pentagon, the military brass, and the C.E.O.s of the military-industrial complex – those who……etc. etc.

     I would like to add that an understanding of human morality and decency should make it clear that Manning is a brave man and has done what every conscientious human being should do when seeing such atrocities committed.
     People should remember that witnesses to atrocities committed in past wars were found guilty for having done nothing to avert the crimes committed by their government.
