Michael Ratner: The U.S. is pressuring Manning to implicate Assange. In an interview with The Real News network, the CCR’s Michael Ratner argued that the U.S. is pressuring Bradley Manning with disturbing treatment to inform on Julian Assange.

New Hampshire supporters recount their protest for Bradley Manning at Obama’s Concord campaign office. On September 6, dozens of cities rallied at Obama campaign offices, calling on the President to end the abuse and prosecution of accused whistle-blower Bradley Manning. In Concord, NH, staffers wouldn’t engage the demonstrators, locking the door and turning off the lights (elsewhere, staffers were more interested – in San Francisco, one Obama donor came outside to rally with the supporters).
The New Hampshire rally continued unimpeded, however, with a full reading of the letter supporters sent to President Obama. (Read more…)
