The war against whistleblowers perpetuated by the Obama administration and the corporate state has found its principle example in Bradley Manning. The punitive measures exacted by the state against those who liberate information amidst the foreclosure of the internet commons, those who challenge the reckless abandon of United States hegemony, those who speak the truth in public, was foretold and enacted upon Private Manning, who on February 23rd will have been held in detention for 1000 days. To mark the occasion, we will be holding a Light Brigade and vigil calling for his immediate release.
