March 10, 2013. Icelandic, Swedish, and Tunisian politicians have signed a letter to the Nobel committee nominating Pfc. Bradley Manning for a 2013 Nobel Peace Prize, citing his releases to WikiLeaks as major advancements toward ending war and fueling democratic uprisings. This is the third straight year that Manning has been nominated for the prize. He remains in prison awaiting trial.
